This method would be time-consuming for a recording of played drums, but for an individual sample can be very effective in creating new sound textures. The individual strike was then compressed using the Waves CLA-76 1176 emulation, and the standard Pro Tools compressor plug in. The results are compared and the one that is considered most interesting applied to the whole kick drum track.
