REDDI Bass DI plugin, from A-Designs Digital by Kush

Behold: the REDDI Bass DI plugin, from A-Designs Digital by Kush.
Until now, REDDI has been a(n expensive) tone weapon used by professional session bass players worldwide, and is heard on countless records made in the past 12 years. Now, it’s magic is available to anyone with a DAW.
With an oversized power supply, tube gain circuit and beefy transformer, the sound of the REDDI hardware is unmistakably ‘classic’, a very forward, tight and punchy sound that drops bass straight into the pocket of dense mixes with less processing than usual.p>

THE REDDI PLUGIN
The plugin faithfully captures that tight quality, then dramatically expands the tonal possibilities with a deceptively simple ‘Bass’ knob that drives the subs into distortion, yielding a tone that is thicker and heavier without making the b noticeably louder.
The plugin also adds a ‘+20dB Headroom’ switch which gives the REDDI an even mellower harmonic signature and allows for more subtle degrees of saturation. On electric guitar, synths, and rhodes, REDDI adds a lovely shimmer without any eq, a very useful tone shift accomplished strictly through its gentle and beautifully crafted harmonic series.
Best of all: no iLok dongle is required!

@mistik2595: thats groove kill me, amazing tracks<3
@therhinoceros1: Howwwww do these "plugins" sound THIS GOOD??? They're like candies...but for your ears!😊
@entity9588: Was it intentional for the GUI to look like a surprised face? I like dat shit mang. Oh yea, it sounds good too.
@TheHouseofKushTV replies to @entity9588: I never noticed that until you pointed it out!
@Tryggvasson: great groove. awesome sounds.
@HugoDaSilva7: REDDI sounds cool...but you got to do drum sampler\rompler.....sounds great
@abyxmedia: I recently got the subscription and out of all of the plugins this is the one that I have been using the most. I’m still learning to use the others, but damn REDDI does some awesome things to sounds: it lifts bass, gives mid range body to my vocoder; puts a little hair on any signal… I think this plugin should have gotten a little more love on the podcast! ❤️
@TheHouseofKushTV replies to @abyxmedia: Thanks! It's def my favorite on bass, I use it on probably 80% of my mixes, almost always followed by Novatron, they're an insane pair.
@STRAIGHTP: Came intuitively for the plugin and stayed for the music 🤙🏼
@LoneSoundRanger: I like how I can hear all this on my freakin iPhone speakers pfahhaa
@dreambeliever3652: Nice looking at your volume automation. All over the Map. That’s a sweet rick there. Keeps the ears quite intrigued
@TheHouseofKushTV replies to @dreambeliever3652: I'm a movement junkie, my main drugs are automation and compression 💉
@NessUnoMusic: Just purchased this one, can't live without it nor without the clariphonic
@noctunoctura2408: Good stuff
@hollandcookson7718: Dude, how do you make your logic look like this?
@TheHouseofKushTV replies to @hollandcookson7718: With the custom Kush theme. I think its still available on thehouseofkush.com, but be warned that Logic 10.4.5 broke the mixer view and I can't fix it.
@hollandcookson7718 replies to @hollandcookson7718: @TheHouseofKushTV NO this is the best news but the worst news :(
@TheHouseofKushTV replies to @hollandcookson7718: This is actually why I'm switching to Reaper, I'll be able to skin every single element and not have to deal with all of Logic's bugs with high sample rates that've gone unfixed for years.
@ezzong replies to @hollandcookson7718: @TheHouseofKushTV let us Reaper users know when you've made your theme available Gregory!
@jfranciskay: This sounds great. I too have one of the hardware units and love it. But I gotta ask, how did you get such a cool looking Logic layout (colors/fonts)? It is SEXY!
@TheHouseofKushTV replies to @jfranciskay: Thanks! I made my own theme using Photoshop for the graphics and the Colorizer app for the menus etc. Sadly, with 10.4.5 Apple broke the ability to skin everything, so I'm hanging on to 10.4.2 until I jump ship to Reaper. Logic's got way too many bugs with Flex Time/Pitch and other stuff at high sample rates, and has for a long time now. I'm over it!
@GetSongsDone replies to @jfranciskay: @TheHouseofKushTV you ever try Studio One?
@Bezowinz: You all make some great tracks. I could only find a few singles. You all need an album, with instrumental versions.
@TheHouseofKushTV replies to @Bezowinz: Working on exactly that as we speak!
@WildAnalog replies to @Bezowinz: Any updates? I need an album, preferable instrumental—no offense toward the singing, which is great. I'm more of an instrumental kind of person.
@CupsLoveJuice: I like the design yalls plugins. Gonna start purchasing them. I know you got the subscription plan, but I wanna throw some money at you guys
@TheHouseofKushTV replies to @CupsLoveJuice: Welcome to the fam!
@abyxmedia replies to @CupsLoveJuice: Worth every penny. Wish I could afford their hardware, but Kush's subscription plan is probably one of the best bang-for-your-buck plugin subscriptions available right now.
@stockmanager: feel like this and other videos come down to wow big deal u put some saturation of things and shaped the sound to fit the track no shit it sounds 'better'. Show me the boring stuff subtractive eq, how to create depth through multiple layers of transient design and eq, the subjectivity of timbre, phase talk to me about phase for 45 minutes and have some real genuine insights as to its relationship and importance to the various stages of tracking and mixing and how u can manipulate it to create width or focus.
You put a tape machine plugin and it sound a bit warmer and blah blah blah shut up this isn't useful its the shallowest crap everyone knows and can do.
@TucúquereErrante replies to @stockmanager: Its just a preview. Calm down . Hahaha
@Prodby_duke replies to @stockmanager: I think this comment was meant for waves 🤔
@TeamJoshHD: Not sure if you’re already hip, but there’s an untapped market you can take advantage of. The iOS /OS music production/engineer community. Take a look into it, I’m sure it would bring in some extra revenue/awareness to what you bring to the table.
@drizzy2302: Nice plugin !! Whats song ID please ?
@peterputsch: What track is that? sound really good
@bikesnbeerz: Want to hear how this really sounds? Gonna just leave this here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3wj-CU4jdbc
@GBlack9: Man, where can I listen to more of your music?
@TheHouseofKushTV replies to @GBlack9: https://www.sneakylittledevil.com !
@GBlack9 replies to @GBlack9: The House of Kush Love it! Found In and Out of Time on Apple Music. :)
@monkeyxx: Did anyone else think it sounded better in bypass?
@TheHouseofKushTV replies to @monkeyxx: I would think so, people always have different tastes and preferences. Even so, the bypassed bass was recorded via Kush Omega Preamp -> Kush Electra EQ, so my feelings aren't hurt, it's 'All Kush All The Time" over here :-)
@monkeyxx replies to @monkeyxx: thanks for the reply, gregory
@freddywoltersjr.1398: Love it!
@Bassaaron4: I immediately grabbed your subscription when I saw this plugin! And now I'm enjoying all your other plugins! My tracks are so phat... I my need to lay off the sugar!!
@Mark-James-Thomas: What DAW is being used for this? Looks sweet.
@TheHouseofKushTV replies to @Mark-James-Thomas: It's Logic, with a custom-hacked skin. Guaranteed to add warmth ;-)
@Mark-James-Thomas replies to @Mark-James-Thomas: Logic injected with a bit of Kush mojo....should have known!
@ryanfarish: Amazing, this just made my day!
@TheHouseofKushTV replies to @ryanfarish: Mine too, I've been using it for so long, it's nice to finally be able to talk about it!
@onehalph: Outstanding
@ProjetHomeStudio: This sounds simply AWESOME ! :o
@TheHouseofKushTV replies to @ProjetHomeStudio: I agree, I love that there's no 5k hash on bass fuzz, most distortions create way too much fizzy top when crunching up bass. This one gets all warm and growly!
@SoundSignals: Woo hoo!!!
@TheHouseofKushTV replies to @SoundSignals: We agree :-)
@SoundSignals replies to @SoundSignals: The House of Kush Incredible music! Is that another Kush Production?
@VoxJ: You Dirty Little Genius!
@TheHouseofKushTV replies to @VoxJ: I see what you did there!
@IntheDAW: No WAY
@TheHouseofKushTV replies to @IntheDAW: WAY!
