@AudioMasterclass replies to @awaad593: I can't but maybe comment readers can?
@102030mohamed: You’re just doing amazing! Great review.
@WrestleTheDecibel: So this channel is for promotion of rubbish tech now? Unsubscribed
@adrianinnavan3910: I assume (such a stupid thing to do) that you used these earbuds with a device with a Snapdragon processor to ensure the APTX kicked in.
I mention this because the only source device mentioned is an iPhone.
Oh and the tab that doesn't do anything - it's to assist you getting the instruction leaflet out of the outer box.
@enricoself2256: I bought a couple of (cheaper) Soundpeats some months ago, but I sent them back: sounds was fine, but UI was not very responsive and having to keep tapping on something stuck in my ear was not very pleasant. Plus, BT connection would cause gaps in the audio in crowded space, like a bus or a mall. I bought a different brand with real buttons on the buds and a more reliable BT connection. Also iPhone does not support AptX, we are still stuck with AAC or plain old SBC so no lossless joy for us - provided a lossless in-ear earbud does make any sense at all.
@Dj-Jon-E-C: Good review I agree I like to be able compare eq on and off.
@davejones538: hate earbuds the silicon makes my ears itchy
@AudioMasterclass replies to @davejones538: Having to scratch an itchy ear while wearing in-ear monitors is definitely a first-world, 21st century issue.
@cherylin4u: Thanks for the awesome review❤❤
@john29john64: Must check if the app will nullify touch controls on my
Mk3 version of these......... I too have suffered many misops by touching one of the earbuds simply to re position it 🎧
@artysanmobile: The box had multiple sides - six at last count - and each was more surprising than the next.
@chrisbresh8817: The best part of unboxing is how you mock unboxing.
@s_r_v: A feature I use on my earbuds is one tap which pauses and switches what I call hearing aid mode on meaning I can hear what everyone is saying then when the annoying humans have gone away one tap on the left earbud and the music starts and the transparency mode goes off...
Aptx is amazing... esp. when listening to loseless ripped cd's
I use Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 3, they sound great, the only issue is that either the noise cancelling is broken or just rubbish, but when they are in your ears tight you can't hear anything else anyway so I've never seen the need to use noise cancelling...
They do seem very fragile though so I can't see them lasting long and they cost £200 😞 D'Oh!
@maidsandmuses: Earbuds; I just cannot cope with the feeling of having something stuck in my ear canal. Still, it is interesting to know what features they keep coming up with (and how much technology they can now cram in these tiny things).
Incidentally, I don't really get the attraction of "unboxing" videos; I tend to skip that part (except when it is AvE doing the unboxing).
@thexfile.: I find that the Bluetooth sound is awful. 😕
@ac81017: I enjoyed the unboxing music, sound quality was surprisingly very good!! I'm dying to know what your favorite headphones from the 90's are??? My favorites we're the Sony MDR-V7 or the D77 from the late 80's early 90's.
@AudioMasterclass replies to @ac81017: I'll reveal all when I have my spare pair from eBay. Don't want to generate competition for them.
@maidsandmuses replies to @ac81017: @@AudioMasterclass I'm starting to suspect a STAX or AKG...
@ac81017 replies to @ac81017: @@maidsandmuses Or a pair of Sennheiser orpheus he90
@maidsandmuses replies to @ac81017: @@ac81017 I assumed they would be outside of the budget, especially since David is looking for a spare pair , but who knows... 😁
@methedutch9647: I really like your unique style of presenting. To me it is very refreshing this no-nonsense approach.
@jeffchristian6798: What a coincidence. I got a pair of Soundpeats a couple of days ago and had a heck of a time getting the box open. Totally agree with your review. My set sound better and better as they break in.
@AudioMasterclass replies to @jeffchristian6798: Did you find the extra eartips though?
@jeffchristian6798 replies to @jeffchristian6798: @@AudioMasterclass Yes, four extra sets of various sizes.
@DaveDaves: WOW. You're sure you're not an AI-generated video? I've watched lots of your audio "masterclass" videos, some ranty, some not. Some I agree with, some I felt were overly ranty - but overall you know pro audio clearly and when I saw you did a video on the SoundPEATS Air4 !? I never thought that anyone from the recording & pro audio world would ever be talking about this brand (or model!) which I only recently became aware of via Amazon. Not sure if mine are the Air4 or Air4Pro but mine sell for $50 normally and they're far far better than I was expecting, loads better than the Apple AirPods 2. Almost as good as the Shure ES215. Cheers.
@AudioMasterclass replies to @DaveDaves: Anyone involved in pro audio needs to know how ordinary people hear their work. And sometimes we listen for pleasure too.
