Premier Percussion Offers New Snares with Craviotto Solid Shells

New from Premier Percussion are its snare drums featuring Craviotto solid shells, the latest addition to its line of Modern Classic snare drums.

These new drums feature Premier's Modern Classic snare drum design combined with Craviotto solid wood shells and also feature special fittings and hardware.

The Premier Modern Classic Solid Maple model features a premium North American Rock Maple shell with classic Craviotto single piece "solid shell" design with matching top and bottom reinforcement hoops. It features a Premier high gloss clear lacquer finish and is available in 14" x 5.5".

The Premier Modern Classic Solid English Walnut Limited Edition model features a rare English Walnut shell also with classic Craviotto single piece "solid shell" design with matching top and bottom reinforcement hoops. It features a special hand rubbed oil natural finish and is also available in 14" x 5.5". An extraordinarily special drum, it is truly a limited edition....only 10 drums will be made.

Both drums feature the Modern Classic bearing edge and snare bed. They are appointed with gold-plated hardware throughout including a gold-plated Modern Classic badge with matching serialized gold-plated eyelet badge, gold-plated Nickel throw-off and gold-plated lugs, rims and tension bolts. The drums feature a special logo Remo Renaissance Ambassador batter head and Hazy Diplomat snare head with Puresound Snare Wires fitted as standard. Each drum comes with its own durable canvas kit bag and has its own Certificate of Authenticity signed by Johnny Craviotto.

Deriving its design from world famous vintage drums of yesterday, the Modern Classic snare drums feature a distinct snare bed profile which works in harmony with Premier's bearing edge profile, to create increased sensitivity, a more versatile tuning range and reduced snare rattle. Nickel drum works ensures a high quality, smooth operating throw off. Premier's extended Modern Classic Snare Drum range includes a variety of wood models including American Maple, Finnish Birch and Gen-X (an exclusive Maple/Birch hybrid) and are available in all finishes to match the Premier Series Drum range. Metal shell models include steel, polished Brass and new Hammered Brass in black chrome finish.
