Nembrini Audio launches the Range 120 guitar amplifier plugin

The latest plugin from Nembrini Audio is the Range 120, a faithful virtual reproduction of the legendary 1970’s Orange OR-120*. Listen to it here.

Orange Amplification, a true household name, is renowned for its high-quality amps and its British guitar tone. Over the years many top musicians, including Jimmy Page, Stevie Wonder, Fleetwood Mac, Slipknot and Oasis, have used Orange amps to define their tone.

The Orange OR-120, used by Jimmy Page of Led Zepplin, is revered by musicians for its full bodied, warm monster tones, great cleans and classic rock grit. The savagery of the amp’s overdrive character is unique. Designed to pair seamlessly with a variety of speakers, the versatile OR-120 offers guitarists looking to expand their rig, a multitude of possibilities.

The new Range 120 Guitar Amplifier plugin captures the sonic signature of this iconic amp, ranging from bold clean tones to thick saturated overdrive. It delivers the unmistakable character that made the physical amp a favorite among rock and heavy music pioneers. With additional stompbox effects, studio-grade processing and cabinet/mic flexibility, this plugin combines vintage soul with modern control, putting classic tone right at a guitarist’s fingertips.

The plugin’s six carefully selected cabinet emulations build on the original amps flexibility and the powerful impulse response (IR) allows users to load and blend their favorite third-party IRs. The four premium microphone emulations, with selectable positions and mixing options, provide studio-level control. The Pre-Amplifier stomp section with Noise Gate, Doubler, Compressor and 808 Octane and Post-Amplifier effect section with Equalizer, Delay Reverb and Studio Compressor, offer infinite opportunities for inspired creativity.

The Range 120 plugin desktop version is available at the introductory price of $29.99 (normally $137) and the iOS is available for $9.99 (normally $19.99) until the August 31st 2025.
