G&L Introduces Tribute Series Invader XL Guitar
October 15, 2004
G&L has broadened the appeal of its Tribute by G&L line with the addition of the twin humbucker equipped Invader XL.
At the heart of this new model are Alnico pickups designed by the company's Paul Gagon. These are made at the historic G&L factory in Fullerton, California. A 3-way switch selects the pickups, and a toggle switch is also provided to split the coils of both pickups. Volume and tone controls complete the controls. Other features include the company's patented Saddle Lock hard tail bridge with nickel-plated saddled.
The Standard version of the Invader XL is available with a basswood body in a Black or Grey Metallic finish, while the Premium version sports a mahoganybody finished in Trans Red or Tobacco Sunburst.
