Four New Acoustic Guitar Preamps from B-Band

B-Band used this year's Musikmesse show to introduce four all-new preamps for acoustic guitar.

Due to the overwhelming requests from electro-acoustic guitar players for a B-Band preamp to directly replace outdated side mount preamps, B-Band now offers an easy way to upgrade. The B-Band A7, A8, A9 and A10 side mount preamps are all based on designs of previous popular B-Band side mount preamps but have dimensions that will directly retrofit older preamp designs of other manufactures.

The B-Band A7 and A8 have dimensions for smaller size preamps. A9 and A10 for larger size.

The A7 is a single input preamp and has slider style 4-band graphic EQ and volume controls. The A8 is a dual input preamp with the special B-Band XOM circuit for use with B-Band UST and AST pickups. Both inputs have gain trims and the master section has slider type 3-band EQ, mix and volume controls.

The B-Band A9 is a single input preamp with slider type controls for the 4-band graphic EQ and volume. The A9 also has a rotary notch filter and frequency control along with a phase button. The A10 is a dual input preamp with the XOM circuit and gain trims for use with B-Band UST and AST pickups. The master section includes slider type 3-band EQ, mix and volume controls, rotary notch filter and frequency controls with phase button.

All four of these new B-Band preamps have 9-volt battery access at the control panel.

MSRP (not including pickups or VAT):

  • A7 - 149.95 EURO
  • A8 - 149.95 EURO
  • A9 - 179.95 EURO
  • A10 - 179.95 EURO
