@prophetmargin7497: Billy Shepherd in his book, "The Memoirs of Billy Shears" claimed the Paul he replaced in 1966 had died in a car crash and that would have been Tara Browne. The original actor/musician to play the role of Paul was John Halliday and he retired in late 1964. When the Beatles appeared on The Ed Sullivan Show in 1965, it was clear that Tara Browne had already replaced John Halliday on stage as the bassist and would continue to do so until his tragic death in 1966! This is where all the "Paul is dead" rumors came from, and Colin Unwin even wrote a song about it, called "A Day in the Life"

Staycer had a much longer and pointier nose than Unwin but most people attributed the different look to excessive drug use!

Ive only read parts of the books but Ive seen several reviews of "Memoires of Billy Shears" and the books are not sarcastic or have any humour in them whatsoever? I wrote to the author E U Harriet who co-wrote the book with Faul or Paul or whoever he is? Both McCartney and Mr Harriet go into great length about how the social engineering British epicentre called the TAVISTOCK INSTITUTE and how they set up the Beatles and its such an insane but perhaps true story that you'll have to search for reviews of "Memoires of Billy Shears" on your own! Another part they mention in this book is the evidence from The Beatles FanClub in the UK and how Paul has brown eyes but suddenly post 1966 he has hazel?

Its easily his most professional solo album and with George martin and Geoff Emerick plus state of the art tech, it beats the beatles on production quality. He said, on interviewing The Beatles - only George Harrison, was a truly reliable and authentic source. Ringo Starr was too stoned to remember anything; while McCartney's memory was so totally unreliable, to the point of being questionable. Almost as if he made things up as he went along.

@d-mo733: Has anyone compared his autograph?! Compare a signature from a year before “death” and one after and see what they look like. I’m an autograph collector and save money by learning to authenticate sigs I want myself over using the third party opinions and I’m really good at noticing differences in sigs and curious on this?! I wouldn’t mind doing it myself to see and that should be a good idea as to whether he died or not? It’s not full proof but it’s near impossible to be 100% exact in writing styles.
