Electronic duo Infected Mushroom and Polyverse present “Wider” stereo plug-in for iOS

Polyverse Music and Infected Mushroom are proud to announce their first plugin available on iPhone and iPad, Wider: a free stereo spreading effect. Polyverse plans to release more products for iOS in the future.

Wider’s unique all-pass and comb filtering algorithm spread signals evenly so that no phase issues occur. Affected signal cancels itself out when summed to mono, rendering the original signal unaffected.

Wider can be used to increase the stereo image of any signal up to 200% of full stereo for an extra wide, exaggerated effect.

Wider is available in AUv3 format, making it compatible with a variety of host applications, including Garageband, FL Studio, Steinberg Cubasis and more. Minimum requirements are iOS 10.0. Wider is immediately available to download for free on the App Store.
