Why did you change your DAW?

Do you have first-hand experience of two or more digital audio workstations? We'd love to know your preferences. You can use this as an opportunity to promote yourself too...
Why did you change your DAW?

Did you once use a different digital audio workstation, but you changed because another one had better facilities, sound quality or some other superior feature>

Are you happy with the change? Would you do it again? Would you recommend others to do the same?

We would like to hear from anyone who has worked with one digital audio workstation and then changed to another. We would like to know the pros and cons, the comparisons, the reasons behind the change, and the benefits (or otherwise) you are getting now.

If you have something to say, please enter a comment below.

You can include your own e-mail and website address, and use this as an opportunity to promote your music or your services. Your response will get thousands of views within days, so you will get seen and noticed.

For this to be useful, you must have extensive experience of at least two systems. Checking out one before buying another wouldn't be enough.

You probably know that we prefer Pro Tools here. But we're always looking for alternatives. Pro Tools won't be top dog forever.

There's no time limit on this - we are always interested in first-hand reports from people who know what they are talking about.
