Soniformer 2.3 Update Released

Version update 2.3 of Soniformer, a mastering compressor in PC VST format, is now available for download.

Version 2.3 fixes minor issues, introduces panning envelope and a compression disable switch which transforms Soniformer into a multi-band stereo field adjustment tool, with a lower CPU overall usage.

This version also implements minor performance optimizations, increases the maximal number of control points in envelopes to 32 (previously only 16 control points were available) and features an output clipping led, and an input-output level difference counter.

Another useful improvement of this version is a narrow band sweeping function which allows you to listen to a selectable narrow sonic band in order to detectvarious sonic artifacts which then can be tamed by Soniformer.

Voxengo Soniformer features:

  • Spectral compression
  • Envelope-driven parameters
  • 32-band spectrum analyzer
  • Mid/side processing
  • Gain change meters
  • Stereo linking envelope
  • Stereo width envelope
  • Stereo pan envelope
  • Two level detector types
  • "A-to-B" comparisons
  • Factory presets
  • Mono-to-Stereo, Stereo-to-Stereo processing
  • Sample rates up to 192 kHz supported
  • Native assembler DSP code
  • 64-bit internal precision

Voxengo Soniformer is available for purchase on-line for USD 59.95.
