The Chrome Tone plug-in for both Windows XP and OS X-based Pro Tools system has been updated to version 1.3, adding more models and sound shaping functionality. Chrom Tone is also not intended soley for guitar, designed with sonic flexibility for a myriad of applications including guitar, keyboards, drums, and even voice.

Chrome Tone 1.3 features three new pre-amps and eight new cabinet models, plus a multi-shape drive section that provides unprecedented control over the distortion tonality. The total Chrome Tone collection of effects includes distortion, compression, gating, chorus, flange, EQ, wah, tremolo, spring reverb and tape delay.

Chrome Tone 1.3 is TDM, RTAS, and AudioSuite, OSX and Win XP with a retail price of $495. Estimated ship date is 04/22/05.
