Comprising more than 500 parts including drum loops, acid basslines, synth FX, and more, Future Beats is made for dance and electronic music producers looking to break out of Monotonous Loop Syndrome with some fresh and exciting new raw material.
Presented in 'MIDI construction set' style, Future Beats covers a wide variety of dance-orientated electronic genres, including Techno, Dub, NuSkool Breaks, Downtempo, Trance, IDM, and more.
Each .MID file contains multiple tracks of parts that fit together; with a choice of drum tracks, basslines, and other instrumental parts and effects that can be mixed, matched, and looped to create complete beats from within one file. Parts can also be used individually, simply to enhance music that is already in production. The material is based upon sequences of rhythms and notes as opposed to relying upon a particular sound that happens to go fizzawa fizzawa fizzawa when you hold down Middle C. Future Beats is designed to let you produce interesting material right out of the box, yet while still providing room for endless tweaking if that's what you like to do.
The beats come in Standard MIDI File format, plus MIDI Groove Clips for Sonar 3, MOTU Clippings, and Motif ES Patterns.
Future Beats was produced by electronic music producer Majool, currently living and DJ-ing in Argentina, and is available on CD, or direct via digital download. Price $39.95. An MP3 demo is also available for free download.
