Motu promises that you can plug just about any input into the combo jack on the back of their new(ish) 8pre, including guitars. I have read differently, although this sounds great to me! There is a gain control knob and a -20db pad button on each input. Can I plug my bass guitar straight in there and expect a noiseless(ish, this is not a premium-grade product, I understand that) signal?
