Johnson Introduces New Bluegrass Series Guitars

The first of many Greg Rich-designed products, new Johnson Bluegrass Series Guitars are made from hand select woods and were developed with bluegrass players in mind.

The Bluegrass Series instruments feature forward-x scalloped bracing in a traditional pre-war style, a solid Engelmann spruce top, classic butterbean tuners, grained ivoroid binding, hand-cut abalone/M.O.P. detailing and more.

Players have a choice of features on models, such as Honduran mahogany or East Indian rosewood back and sides, and additional inlay and solid wood options.

The new Johnson bluegrass series, along with other new Johnson instruments, will be showcased at the Summer NAMM 2005 Show.
