Fishman Ships Ellipse Aura Onboard Preamp

Combining the company's most sophisticated onboard preamp with the company's Acoustic Imaging Technology, the Fishman Ellipse Aura is now shipping and available.

The Ellipse Aura is a state-of-the-art onboard preamp that blends the sound from your guitar's undersaddle pickup with Fishman's studio-mastered Aura Images — digital algorithms created using the world's most popular guitars and studio microphones. The result is an exceptional true to life, studio-quality sound in any amplified performance.

Up to 4 Images can be downloaded from Fishman's Aura Image Gallery software (included) via an on-board mini-USB port.

The Ellipse Aura also features easily accessible Pickup/Image Blend, Volume and switchable Natural I/Natural II low frequency controls. A Phase button and Automatic Anti-Feedback switch let the player quickly and easily control feedback.

The preamp's ergonomic soundhole-mounted design puts slider controls at the player's fingertips to maintain a natural playing position. A patent-pending neodymium magnetic mounting system enables easy installation and accommodates most round soundholes from 3 7/8" (98mm) to 4 1/8" (105mm) in diameter.

Ellipse Aura includes a no-hassle, solder-free Acoustic Matrix undersaddle pickup in narrow, wide, or narrow/split formats.

MSRP for the Ellipse Aura is $399.95 and MAP is $299.95.
