Curt Sheller Publications has released of a series of chord books for guitar players titled "The Advanced Guide to Chords for Guitar" by Curt Sheller, designed to help you expand your chord vocabulary.

The series contains 3 volumes for guitar. Volume 1 & 2 for standard tuned six string guitar and volume 3 for 7 string guitar tuned to a low "A".

Beyond learning basic guitar chords most players struggle with advanced chords. Commonly called "jazz" chords, these more sophisticated voicings find a wide use in all forms of music.

Each volume of The Advanced Guide to Guitar Chords presents an organized approach to the mysterious subject of advanced chords. Chord dictionaries are not the answer in the author's mind. Even chord theory does not offer any insight into unraveling the complexity of Guitar chord voicings.

Both volumes 1 and 2 are 68 pages in length, and available as hardcopy for $19.95 or as a PDF download for $11.75 each. Volume 3 is 52 pages long, and available in hardcopy only at the moment, for the same $19.95.
